Lucidity

Lucidity

I travel out of town
Leaving my better days behind me
I bring the little letter
You put together to remind me

Of the misty Monday morning we met
Before the sun came out of hiding
And the loving waiting for me
When I come back to you

Lucidity
Lucidity

The road is jutting out into the landscape painting I'm beholding
It's cooler in the mountains and the clouds are teaching me to move
A low down frequency is humming
Humming all around me
Moment after moment, rumbling in tune

Darling forgive my reckless ways
At the end of all the moving
Who do you thank

Lucidity
Lucidity

Something in the music of the colors
wandering around me
Reminds me of the ways I could feel the weight of you
I power down the mountain like cool blue water when its flowing
Whistling a memory of what I have to do
